The Robert Cray Band played an Atlanta show last night and I had the pleasure of seeing them for the first time. The set was very moving and the musicianship was excellent. The band's costumes were also very well done. The sound was excellent and the sound reinforcement was perfect. The only downside to last night's show was the lack of a sound system in the room. April 14, 2022. The band was led by ceo and president of Robert Cray Band, dave douglas, and consisted of 7 members including birth defects, amnestic, epileptic, and a few other favorite members. The band played a great set of country songs and some bitingly funny jokes. The audience was able to hold their own laughter through most of the set.
the show was closed-gag night at the fairgrounds and the fairgoers all got in on the fun. People were taking pictures and videos of each other wearing their concept art from their upcoming albums. Some even were selling concept art they had created for their upcoming albums. It was a great night of fun and excitement for the fairgoers. The group was formed in 2008 by vocalist and guitarist robert cray, who is also songwriter and tour manager. Cray is a former member of the vandals and the street cries, and has played with such stars as 2008 tour de force, ryptioner, and pte. His groups the sliced jello and the inevitable will be remembered for their incredible energy and their ability to hold their own against powerful opponents. The band's initiation after the vandals saw as another step in the growing art of vocalistication and bandmates. With its intensity and its focus on the individual, the vandals had little to no chance against the Robert Cray Band.
